BRITT DAVIS
Britt Davis grew up in Sacramento,California
and then moved to Colorado where he attended The University
of Colorado at Boulder. He graduated with a business
degree and then went to work in Germany. He spent two years working
as a Public Relation's Director for the US government living in Frankfurt
and then Ludwigsburg. He return to the USA for just a couple
of months and then moved to Japan and worked with a private school
teaching English to businessmen and College students. He also appeared on various
Japanese television shows during his years there. He again return to
the USA and worked for Teikyo Loretto Heights University as an instructor
of Intercultural Studies. He loves working with international students
as well as eating exotic foods. He wanted to build on his passion for
good things, so he left that job to open his own business. He owned small
gourmet gift basket stores. He was very successful in his venture,
but heard the call of God and followed that call straight into ministry.
Britt received a Masters Degree in Christian Education from Abilene
Christian University in 1999. During that time he was able to do
mission work in Nairobi, Kenya and teach Bible courses in the Undergraduate Bible
Department at ACU. He has also done mission work in Honduras, Brazil and
various other domestic sites. He has worked as a Youth Minister
in WA state and as a Family Life Minister in WV before settling
here at Kilgore College as the Director of the Christian Campus Center. Britt teaches
various for credit Bible courses each
semester. He worships with the Chandler Street of Church of Christ in
Kilgore.
Mary Brown
Mary works as an
Assistant here at the Tri-C and helps Britt to coordinate different events and
to help out however she is needed.
Mary and her family moved here to Kilgore in August 2006. Her husband, Lane, serves as the Family
& Youth Minister at the Chandler St. Church of Christ. Dane is their son and their trusty
companion. He is a great
